Philosophy
The management philosophy of Midwest Emergency Department Services (MEDS) has always been, and will continue to be, to provide our hospitals with a level of service that is immediately responsive to the needs of the hospital. MEDS emphasizes a team approach to Emergency Department Management. Emergency services development and management is a very complex and inter-related entity. Multiple departments, organizations, and individual personnel must work in smooth, cooperative efforts in order to provide high quality patient care. We believe no single person or department is any more or less important to the effective operation of the department. Leadership
We've been successfully staffing and managing emergency departments since 1983. MEDS is led by people who know emergency medicine - our two owners are practicing, board certified emergency medicine physicians with a combined 45 years of clinical experience, and our CEO has invested 30 years in emergency medicine management. Their hands-on approach gives MEDS unique perspective and expertise in physician recruitment, and it helps us form strong and lasting relationships with the hospitals we serve.

We know how important it is to have a staff of highly skilled, emergency physicians who are capable of promoting your mission within the hospital and the community.

The MEDS management team creates professional relationships with hospital counterparts and administration. It is our goal to establish a true management team at our contracted facilities, to address the needs of the community, the hospital, and the patients. The owners and support staff of MEDS are always available to you, to address any needs or concerns that may arise. We are professional, have vast experience in emergency department management, yet have remained small so that our level of commitment and service are not lost in layers of management. We bring a high level of personal attention and commitment to each of our hospitals.
